Hi! Oi! Bonjour! Hallo! ¡Hola!

The daughter of a renowned Brazilian educator and a Brazilian Fulbright scholar turned academic visual artist professor, Juliana always knew growing up in Illinois, USA that choosing a creative field would be both a blessing and a curse. Nurtured from a young age to believe in the transformative power of art, Juliana ended up succumbing to her fate and unable to shake the “I wanna make movies” bug - she moved across the ocean to be able to do just that.

The award-winning American writer worked in film and TV as a producer, assistant director, assistant camera, casting assistant and script supervisor (among many other functions because she took the motto “learning by doing” very seriously) in Chicago, New York City, Paris and São Paulo before relocating to Berlin by way of Munich where she continued to be delusional about pursuing a successful career in Film/ TV.

After writing episodes for the highly-anticipated Netflix Show 1899 and two seasons of the worldwide record-breaking show Maxton Hall on Prime, as well as penning the original movie for the Elevator Boys coming out in 2026 exclusively on Prime, Juliana checked off her bucket list wish of making it in the industry. She continues to write and create. Juliana is currently developing a rom-com feature with KJ Entertainment and Letterbox Film Production (Bad Banks), and developing her original TV show with Gaumont (Lupin, Narcos).

Besides Film & TV, Juliana loves to empower fellow humans to get out of their own way and achieve their wildest dreams because nobody came to this world to be discovered, everyone came to remember their power. She also teaches, keynote speaks, and is currently obsessed with learning about quantum physics, human design and even astrology which she knows very little about. Juliana speaks English, Portuguese, German, French and Spanish. She also pretends to speak Italian, and she knows some words and phrases in Dutch, Albanian, Cantonese and Russian. Maybe one day she'll find the time to learn those languages too.

Juliana is currently on a year long adventure in Arizona with her two children, husband and furry companion “Oscar” because if anyone ever asks - she’s already got one. ;-)
