As someone who has been in the industry for 15 years and started a career from scratch, no connections, no trust fund, I know that what got me to where I am today was a heck lot of confidence: in my talent, my craft, my abilities, but most importantly in myself. The good news: everyone can learn to exude confidence. And confidence is a key component of successful networking which in turn is how anyone gets hired in the industry. Why?
